Originally used for training Air Force pilots for their IFR renewals, the weather computer is great for pre-flight planning, as a training aid, a quick weather reference and in flight. Provides useful information on frontal and air mass weather in detail along with cross sections of the five general types of thunderstorms and general types of icing conditions. “Whiz-wheel” design helps pilots quickly match existing conditions with appropriate actions to be taken.
